Finalizing Student Grades in Apex AND PowerSchool

Note: the following procedures assumes that the student has completed his / her apex course. No changes need to be made in Apex for continuing students.


  1. Teachers MANUALLY input FINAL GRADES into APEX (NOT POWERSCHOOL) FOR EACH student.
  2. Teachers Print a Completion Letter and Student Progress Report.
  3. Teachers turn in both these documents to Counselor for verification.
  4. Counselor Archives these docs into student CUMEs
  5. Counselor inputs grades in PS as a Historical Grade entry with correct Teacher of Record* (if possible)


*Teacher of Record should be an NCLB compliant teacher by next Semester.
